Windows 7 features has incredibly improved Windows Media Player 12 featuring interesting options and changing the way users play and manage their digital media content (like music and videos). The all new Windows Media Player 12 take full advantage of key Windows 7 features such as the new Windows Taskbar, HomeGroup and Jump Lists. The guys at Microsoft Windows blog have released an interesting post describing all the keyboard shortcuts for Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 7. 
Here is a complete list of the keyboard shortcuts for Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 7:

CTRL-Left Arrow and CTRL-Right Arrow are still doing these functions when I’m in edit mode like changing a song name, so I can’t use them as they used to in previous versions of WMP and in all other Windows applications, that is to move the cursor to the beginning of previous or next word.
