windows 7Windows 7 lets you customize its appearance in a lot of ways. You may want to read these articles of mine on how to create a custom theme, how to customize the date on the system tray and how to customize Windows 7 logon background. However, if you wish to further customize your Windows 7 and have, for instance, different wallpapers every time you logon your computer or every x minutes, here is a quick trick which will let you create a kind of Windows 7 wallpaper rotator without any software!

To rotate wallpapers in Windows 7 automatically is a children’s game! As a matter of fact,  you won’t even need a software to do it since this feature is kinda embedded in the system itself. Here is the procedure to shuffle wallpapers:

  1. Right-click any empty space of your desktop and select Personalisation.
  2. Now choose Desktop Background located at  the bottom of the screen.
  3. Under Picture Location choose where you want to retrieve your pictures from (folder or other location).
  4. Now, choose your wallpapers, pictures, images etc.
  5. At the bottom of your screen,  next to “Change Picture every:” tick Shuffle.
  6. Done!
