windows 7Every now and then, while putting your Windows 7  into hibernation, the system may return you with the following error message: ” STOP 0×000000A0 INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (0×0000000B, 0x????????, 0x????????, 0x????????)” . Most of the times, this issues is caused  by the size of the hibernation file which is not large enough for the current memory contents. Let’s see how to solve and fix hibernation error (STOP 0×000000A0 INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR) in a couple of easy steps.

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click All Programs.
  3. Click Accessories.
  4. Now, right-click the Command Prompt and from the menu click Run as Administrator.
  5. A black windows should appear. On it, type powercfg  /hibernate  /size 100 and press Enter.
  6. As a final step, type Exit and press Enter.

    This is a widespread bogus tweak because everyone is copying it from someone else.

    You don’t need to try it, because it is just plain NOT working.
