My comments are on Microsoft Security Essentials. I download the software three week ago May 25, 2011. Essentials has protected my system twice with alerts of unknown programs are bugs trying to enter my computer. It very depenable and give you confindenace that I have never had with any other security software. Thanks for supporting your customers and given reliability. It's not often you can share comments that really mean something.
                                                                 Customer,

Well that puts an end to the last category of software left standing (AV). Windows 7 finally put backup companies out of business with System image... and malware companies out of business with Defender and cd burning software. Norton was the last nail in the coffin has already burried Quaterdeck, WordPerfect, Lotus, Netscape, Eudora, Winamp, Cuteftp just to mention a very few.

There are only a handful of utilities left standing.... windows does not clone a drive, making it bootable, the email program does not bounce back spam, making it look like your address is invalid so you will be automatically removed, it dos not monitor the startup areas of your computer and alert you when a virus, malware or their own crapola is added to load at bootup.

The real question is where can they go from here ? Windows 7 mayhave reached the top of the pyramid because the prosperity of Windows has been mostly successful by gobbling up the packman power pellets. That game is almost over.
