Oh well, I have widely written about ways to recover and restore deleted files from your computer. But if you know me a little bit, you should know how paranoid I am when it comes to protecting my private files…from every kind of accident. So, let’s find out a new way to restore accidentally deleted files and data in your Windows operating system!
DiskDigger is a free utility able to recover your files, accidentally deleted in Windows operating systems. It recovers your files from any type of media that your computer can read including USB dongle, SD cards and external hard drives. It is also able to scan and reformat badly formatted or damaged hard drives and it has its own built-in support for the following file systems: FAT12 (floppy disks), FAT16 (older memory cards), FAT32 (newer memory cards and hard disks), NTFS (newer hard disks), and exFAT (Microsoft’s new successor to FAT32). With Diskdigger you can:
- Recover deleted pictures and videos.
- Recover deleted documents.
- Reformat old or apparently damaged hard drives.
- Securely wipe your hard disks.
- Compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP SP2 and higher, Windows Vista, and Windows 7
