new acer dual boot

Acer has recently unveiled a new ultraportable computer (netbook) called Aspire One AOD250. Oh well, I know pretty well that you are sick and tired of all these ultraportable things overflowing the market, but I am sure that this particular model is going to straighten and stiff your tech ears right away! As a matter of fact, it features an interesting and original dual boot letting you access two operating systems: Android and Windows XP Home.

Well, let me frank with you guys. I like the new Acer Aspire One AOD250. It has got a lot of character under the apparently normal  hood. In fact, its main features are:

  • 10.1″ WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite™ LED-backlit Display.
  • Intel® Atom™ Processor N280.
  • 1024MB DDR2 667MHz of RAM.
  • 60GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive.
  • Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950.
  • Dual-Boot Operating System, choose between Android™ and Windows® XP Home operating systems.
  • Acer InviLink™ 802.11b/g Wi-Fi CERTIFIED®.
  • Dolby® Headphone Technology.
  • 6-cell Li-ion Battery supporting  up to 9 hours of use.
  • 10.2 (W) x 8.4 (D) x 1.0 (H) inches and weights in at 1.27 kg.

The new Acer Aspire One AOD250 will cost $350. No word about its release date.
