I'd like to make a bootable dvd in order to erase this XP sp1 and install windows7. When i try to use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool it requires image mastering api v2. The problem is that image mastering apiv2 can't work with xp sp1! If you have any idea to help me it would be wonderful. After you have created the bootable usb with the upgrade version of win 7 you can simply put it into any computer and go to custom install and install to a clean new formatted hard drive with never any sign of an os. You can even edit ei.cfg and tell it to intall the Ultimate version.. but your home pro key will not register the Ultimate version. Install Win 7 from a bootable 4gb USB drive with 1 click.
