I have already written about nice ways to protect and hide your data from other users and people using your same computer. I have also written about a nice trick letting you hide files &  folders in Vista. But if you want to be 100% that nobody will ever see any part of your PC, here is another free application which lets you  separate a slice of your disk on your PC and lock it with a password within seconds!

Secret Disk is a software that locks hard disk partitions in your computer. The way it works is rather simple. Once installed, the software will ask you to choose a password …that’s it! Reading from the website: “Just install Secret Disk and choose a password. Then, start Secret Disk. Press unlock button, enter your password and you will see one more disk X: appears in My Computer area. You can now start working with your private files to save them to secret disk X.” Here is a list of its most important features:

• In case of power failure your hidden hard disk or hidden partition will be automatically locked.
• Secret disk compatible with any files and folders.
• Secret Disk does not encrypt any files. It just password protect a part of your hard drive.
