Microsoft promises us that Windows 7 is the best, stable, reliable operating system ever. However, are you ready to bet the safety of your most important files and data? Well, to tell you the truth I am not ready for it…yet! So, here is the easy procedure that lets you create a disk (System Repair Disc) to repair Windows 7 boot.
- Click Start.
- In the Search box, type system repair disc.
- A new window will appear.
- Select the drive (do not forget to insert a blank DVD first!) and click the Create Disc button.
- Done!
- Next time something goes wrong and you do not manage to boot Windows 7, simply turn off the machine, insert the System Repair Disc and boot from it.

If you don’t have this disk… just go to the command prompt from the install disk and run bootrec /fixboot and bootrec /rebuildbcd
