I used this to transfer files and settings from my son's restricted access account on our family computer running XP to his administrator account on a new laptop for college. The program worked fine but after restoring the files to the new computer his admin account did not have access to the files. I ended up deleting everything that had been copied over then simply copying and pasting from the old to the new computer.

I used it on my install. I haven't had a lot of luck with back-up programs in the past, but this went smoothly. Lost nothing, made a small file, and restored in no time. Highly recommend. All setting were carried over for programs on other drives.
