windows 7Windows 7 is supposed to simplify your lives. Nevertheless, there are certain things on it which have got trickier than ever! For example, how do you manage to disable and turn off the hibernation? As a matter of fact, if you go to Power Options in Windows 7, you won’t be able to locate the familiar Hibernation tab anymore.

  1. Click Start.
  2. Go to Control Panel.
  3. Under Power Options, Change when the computer sleeps.
  4. Now, click Change advanced power settings.
  5. Click and expand Sleep.
  6. Click and expand Hibernate After. This option will let you disable or enable (after a certain period of time)  the famous Hibernation.
  7. By the way, you can also turn it off and turn it on by using the CMD and entering: powercfg.exe /hibernate onpowercfg.exe /hibernate off
