Kindly check for a firmware update with your system vender as it may fix this problem.” Here is a quick solution to fix it. Usually, this error is triggered by incorrect or incompatible drivers or power manager issues. Here is the procedure to follow:

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Search bar, type Device.
  3. Now select and click Device Manager.
  4. Expand the Batteries category.
  5. Right-click the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listing, and select Uninstall from the right click menu.
  6. Click  the Action menu on the upper taskbar.
  7. Click the Scan for hardware changes button.
  8. At this point, Windows will detect the removed hardware component, and will try to re-add it with the right driver. This should be sufficent to fix the error.
  9. Done!
