windows 7As you know the left navigation pane available in the Windows Explorer window is a nice features which lets you explore and navigate different location of your Windows Operating system such as: Favorite, Desktop, Downloads, Recent Places, Libraries etc. If you don’t like the idea of having such a section and you want all the Windows Explorer window available for your items, here is a quick trick to achieve this result!

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. From the upper toolbar, click Organize and then Layout.
  3. Now untick the Navigation Pane option.
  4. Done!

Bonus. If you also wish to disable the Detail Pane here is what you have to do:

  1. Again, open Windows Explorer.
  2. Click Organize and then Layout.
  3. Untick Details Pane.
