Folder Marker

As you know, among the features Windows 7 boasts, there is a nice option which lets you change the color of its folders. Of course, Windows Vista and the “old” Windows XP do not have it. Recently, I have found an interesting free add-on which lets you mark folders with color-coded icons on these two Microsoft OS.

Folder Marker is an interesting add-on for Windows Vista and XP which lets you customize the way your Windows folders look like. What follows is a small list of its most important features:

  • Simple to use.
  • Change ALL folders in your OS.
  • Mark folders by priority, by degree of work etc.
  • Change the folder’s color.
  • Folder Marker assigns an icon to a folder from: ICO, ICL, EXE, DLL, CPL or BMP file.
