Windows 7 taskbar is an interesting feature which allows you to optimize the way you manage all the programs and Windows tools on your desktop. As you know, all the above mentioned applications have their corresponding icons on such a taskbar which, by default, are aligned on the left. If you do not like the way they are aligned but, say, you would like to have them center or middle aligned, here is a simple trick to achieve this result.

1. Right-click any empty space of your desktop and create a new folder.
2. Name such a folder Center and hit Enter.
3. Now, right-click the Taskbar and on the the menu, click Lock the Taskbar.
4. Again, right-click the Taskbar and this time click Toobar and New  Toolbar.
5. The system will prompt you to select a folder. Select the Center folder you just created.
6. Right click the new Toolbar and, from the menu untick Show Text and Show Title.
7. At this point, drag the Taskbar divider to the left . Mind that this divider is a bit difficult to locate. It is a dotten vertical line, next to the Start button.
8. Done!
9. If you wish to go back to the default settings, right-click the toolbar you have just created and from the menu click Close.
