Sometimes, while trying to open the Organize Favorites window in Internet Explorer, the system may return you with the following error : ” An error has occurred in this dialog. Error:100 Invalid class string”. This error also leaves the above-mentioned window completely blank and it is due to missing Microsoft JScript registration. Here is what to do to fix it.

How to fix the error in Windows 7 and Windows Vista

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Search field, type cmd and press Enter.
  3. Type, regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter.
  4. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

How to fix the error in Windows XP

  1. Open an account with admin privileges.
  2. Click Start.
  3. Click Run… and type, regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter.
  4. Restart the Computer.
