Thanks to mashups, web developers have managed to create interesting Web applications letting you track flights, in real time, on Google Maps. Here are a couple of websites which, on a detailed map, will show you all the flights you are interested in, including a lot of information about them.
- Flightradar24. It shows live aircraft traffic in the airspace aboveall over Europe! For each flight you are able to track the kind of plane, a picture of it, airline, speed, altitude, from…to…! A real must if you love to have everything under your…control!
- Radarvirtuel. Another great website which shows you flights over Europe, USA and South America! For each flight you are able to track, kind of plane, airline, from…to…, altitude, speed, flight number etc.
- Gmapsflighttracker. Detailed maps and detailed flight infos about some of the most important Airports in the USA including: NY, Atlanta, Boston. The site is a simple but it is worth!
