Click <b>Start</b>. 2. Type <b>windows features</b> & press <i>Enter</i>. 3. Find <b>Windows gadget platform</b> (near the bottom of the list) & clear it's check box. 4. (Optional). While you're there, I would also reccomend clearing the check boxes for <b>Games<b> & for <b>Tablet PC components</b>, unless you <i>do</i> have a tablet PC. 5. Click <b>OK</b>. For Windows 7 Home Premium (& maybe Basic too), you could try this.
