If you are at work and you leave your computer, even for a few minutes, a good rule of thumb is to lock the desktop to prevent nosy people from peering at your business. In Windows 7 this task is performed by pressing the Windows Key + L. However, you you want to make the whole operation easier and faster, I have got a nice shortcut for you which will lock your computer in one second! 

1. Right-click any empty area of your desktop.
2. Click New.
3. Click Shortcut.
4. A dialog box should appear. In the Type the Location of the Item field paste this shortcut: rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
5. Click the Next Button.
6. Enter your personal description under the  Type a Name for this Shortcut field.
7. Click Finish.
8. Done!
