fireoxIf you like surfing the Web at light-speed and don’t have any time to lose you might be interesting in this fast trick which allows you to increase the scrolling speed (Scroll Acceleration) of blogs, websites and web pages while surfing the Internet. This is extremely useful if you have to scroll down and up a particularly long web page. Wouldn’t you like to scroll a page down by simply moving your mouse of a few inches?

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. In the Web address field, type about:config and press Enter.
  3. Click the I’ll be careful, I promise button.
  4. In the Filter box, type mousewheel.acceleration.start
  5. Double click  it.
  6. A small window will appear. Set the number you wish to make the  scroll acceleration faster (or slower).
  7. Click OK.
  8. Now, in the Filter box, type mousewheel.acceleration.factor
  9. Double click it.
  10. A small window will appear. Change the value to set how  faster you want to scroll!
  11. Click OK.
  12. Restart Firefox for the change to take effect.
