sneak peekAs you know, Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, Mozilla Thunderbird and famous web email clients such as Yahoo! Mail for example, have got among their features the famous preview-pane which lets you have a preview of a chosen email without clicking it. In case you don’t know what I am talking about, the pane I am referring to is located in the bottom part of the window. On the upper side of the same window instead you can find the list of your incoming emails. Click one of them to see a preview of it on the other pane. Recently, Gmail has implemented such a feature called “Sneak Peek” .

Sneak Peek is a feature which will let you save a lot of time. In fact, it allows you to have a preview of your emails without actually opening them at all. Sneak Peek is located under the Lab icon. Reading from the Gmail Lab Section: “Peek into a conversation without opening it by right-clicking on a message in your inbox.” To turn it on, follow the easy steps below:

  1. Long in your Gmail account.
  2. On the upper-right side of the Gmail window, click the Lab icon.
  3. Scroll the page down and locate Message Sneak Peek

  4. Click the radio button to turn it on.
  5. Done!
