SplashKiller

If you are always in a hurry and don’t have any time to lose, maybe you are interested in this little, free application which turns off the annoying splash screen of any program running on your computer. If you don’t know what a splash screen is,  open Microsoft Word. The “Welcome Window” you see at first is what I am talking about. Let’s see how to disable it and make your applications faster!

SpalshKiller is a nifty tool which kills every splash screen related to any application installed on your computer. Since this software is compatible with Windows XP, once you have installed it on your Windows 7, right click its shortcut on the desktop, click Properties and select the Compatibility tab. Make sure to execute it in Windows XP mode.

If you want to download it, visit the official website.
