A couple of days ago I wrote on how to turn on the super admin account. Today, I am going to write on how to get full Administrator rights and access thanks to a little, but rather unknown trick. So, thanks to this little tutorial you will be able to gain access, total control and be the owner of any Windows 7 operating system, including its tools and apps.
- Click Start.
- Click Computer (you can also found this icon on the desktop).
- Right click on the Hard Disk icon where your OS is installed on and click Properties.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click the Change Permissions button located after the Permission Entries list.
- A new window will appear on your screen. Such a window contains a list of all the user accounts available on your computer.
- Select the user account you want to give total control over your Windows 7 and click the Edit button.
- Now, tick the checkbox labeled “Total Control” and press OK.
- Done!

None of it works…i’ve tried for three days to get my mp3 players to work which were working last week. Now they are all read only. I thought by giving full control i would solve the problem. How can they work fine one day then none of them work the next?
I transfered mp3 files and they are there but when i remove it and press play it says NO FILES.

I tried this as well. I tried this from the (was) hidden Administrator acount and that super accound DENIED me as well. !!!
Microsoft needs to stop this abuse of its customers! Microsoft needs to have a simple way to allow total control of the computer for the person who OWNS the computer. Microsofts attitude is very abusive.
I do need the answer to this problem. help?

Sorry Guys. This guy is messing with you. There’s no “Total Control” button.
He’s just testing your gullibility. Some people are like that when people ask for help. Total A….Holes.

Actually if you follow the steps IN ORDER there is a total control button.

I think another way around this is to enable the hidden windows 7 Admin account and use this account and it should give full control, do this in command prompt.
net user administrator /active:yes
