After a lot of rumors, finally Google TV is here. In fact, today Google officially announced its own TV. Google TV is the ideal platform which combines the natural power of the Internet with the entertaining capabilities of your TV. “The project started 2½ years ago, with a vision of a walled garden of TV-optimized web services. But the landscape keeps shifting, particularly in the capabilities of mobile devices. The only solution big enough for the problem is to bring the whole web to your TV”

But what is Google TV exactly? Simple! Imagine to turn your TV on and get all the best stuff from the Internet such as YouTube Videos, your favorite blogs, your favorite Internet services, Java games, music etc, along with your all the  TV channels you normally watch at home!  Google TV is based on the Android platform  and  Google Chrome built in. Right now Google is working side-by-side with Sony and Logitech to put Google TV inside real flast screen TVs, Blu-ray players and companion boxes. All these devices will be sold around next fall  at BestBuy.
