By default Adobe Reader, the famous pdf reader, uses Javascript. Now, you have to know two important facts about this news. First, Adobe works pretty well even if it doesn’t use Javascript at all. Secondly, by using Javascript, Adobe puts your computer in jeopardy. In fact, a lot of malware and viruses, use Javascript bugs and errors to exploit computers. So it is better and safer if it is off. Let’s see how to turn off Javascript in Adobe Reader.
- Turn on Adobe Reader.
- Click Edit on the upper taskbar.
- Click Javascript on the left pane.
- Untick Enable Acrobat Javascript.
- Click OK.

Thanks for this one, Frank, because just recently i have had a few buggy problems with adobe reader, which i always make sure is up to date.
