facebookLately, a lot of Facebook buttons have started appearing on some blogs and websites. Such a button lets Facebook share your private information with the website you are visiting. This means that if you visit a blog about cars, you could get extra valuable information and deals on the base of what you have written on your Facebook account. If you don’t feel comfortable about this and you don’t want third-party companies know too much about your life, here is a simple tricks to turn off and disable Facebook sharing feature.

  1. Login your Facebook account.
  2. Click Account and select Privacy Settings.
  3. Click Applications and Websites.
  4. Untick the checkbox marked as “Allow select partners to instantly personalize their features with my public information when I first arrive on their websites.”
