Samsung has recently launched its new Internet tablet, GALAXY Tab which aims to become one of the noteworthy Apple iPad competitors. The launch was made some days ago, on September 2nd, to be exact at the IFA 2010 in Berlin, Germany. Samsung GALAXY has got a bunch of cool features which will make iPod owners feel  quite envious, to say the least!

First of all let me tell you that the GALAXY is really thin and light, too! In fact, it only weighs  380g while its  dimensions are 190.09 x 120.45 x 11.98mm ( a lot thinner than the iPad!). Other feature include:

  • LCD 7 TFT-LCD inches touchscreen with a resolution of 600 x 1,024.
  • 3G/HSDPA (up to 7.2Mbps).
  • ARM Cortex A8-based ‘Hummingbird’ processor (A8 1.0GHz).
  • 512 MB of RAM.
  • Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS.
  • Flash 10.1 support.
  • Built-in gyroscopic, geo-magnetic sensors, light sensor.
  • A-GPS or even full GPS.
  • It can be used to make phone calls.
  • You can send and receive  SMS/MMS.
  • 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
  • Available in two versions:  16GB,  32GB.
  • The menory can be expanded thanks to a support for memory cards ( up to 32GB).
  • 3 Megapixel lens, LED flash camera.
  • Extra 1.3MP camera on the front.

Samsung Galaxy will be launched in Mid September 2010 in Europe. It will be launched in the States inthe next months.
