This little, quick tutorial will let you lock your Windows desktop in…one click! How many times have you wished to secure your computer from nosy people, how many times have you left your computer in a hurry leaving it in the hands of untrusty people? Thanks to this little hack you will be able to create an icon shortcut which will lock your desktop right away with one click!
- Right click on the desktop.
- Select New – Shortcut.
- Now, you are in the wizard which lets you create a shortcut. Type rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
- Click Next.
- Give a Proper name to your new shortcut such as “Lock my Desktop”.
- Click Finish.
