If your children spend a lot of time in front of the computer, you might wish to check them more closely in order to limit the amount of time they use the PC or surf the Web. This quick trick will let you put a time limit in Windows 7 which, after a certain amount of time will lock the computer!

  1. Before starting with this tutorial you need to have full admin rights on the PC you want to set the Time Limit feature.
  2. Also, you need to create an account. On such account we will apply the Time Limit feature.
  3. Click Start.
  4. Click Control Panel.
  5. Click Set up parental controls for any user located under User Accounts and Family Safety.
  6. Now, choose the account you want to control.
  7. Click  On, enforce current settings to turn on Parental Controls for that user.
  8. Click the Time Limits option.
  9. A kind of week-planner will appear on your screen. Set the amount of time per day you wish to lock.
  10. Click OK.
