If you are in Windows 7 XP Mode and press CTRL and ALT  to full screen the DOS Command Prompt, you will get an error message warning you that it is impossible to perform such operation because full screen option is not supported. This is not an error but a real Windows 7 limitation which simply doesn’t allow you to open the Command prompt (CMD) in Full Screen mode.  However, thanks to a little trick you will just be able to open it! Here is how.

  1. Open Windows XP mode.
  2. In Tools menu, select Disable integration features.
  3. Now, Simply open the DOS in full screen mode!
