If you wish to change and modify the current settings for your Power Button located on your Start Menu, then this little tutorial is for you! Thanks to it you will be able to assign to the Power Button on the following settings : “Shutdown, Hibernate, Sleep, Restart, Lock, Log Off and Switch User.

  1. Right click the Start Button on your screen.
  2. Click the Start Menu tab.
  3. Click the Power Button Action drop down menu and select on of its options.
  4. Click OK.
