I am pretty sure that you have experienced this issue at least once  during your life of …Windows-user!  The famous “Cannot delete file…” error has different versions to tell you the truth. The most famous ones  are: Cannot delete file: Access is denied, There has been a sharing violation, The file is in use by another program or user, Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use etc. This tutorial won’t explain you  why this error is triggered. Unlocker is a simple, free tool which forces the system to delete any file of your choice No more “Cannot Delete File…” warning for you! The way it works is really simple:

  1. Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker.
  2. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear.
  3. Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

    Nice post. My question is, can you also use Unlocker when logged in as a user with limited rights to delete files which have been posited/pasted there on earlier occasion while logged as an administrator?
