firefoxBy default, Mozilla Firefox browsers will attempt to automatically resize website pictures while you surf the Internet. If you don’t like this kind of behaviour and wish to stop it, this brief trick will teach you to turn off the automatic image resizing in a couple of steps. This hack works on each Firefox version, namely Firefox 2,3 and 4. Enjoy!

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. In the address bar,type about:config.
  3. Click the “I’ll be careful. I promise!” button.
  4. In the filter field, type browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing
  5. Double click the value and set it to False. This will disable the automatic image resizing.
  6. Done.
