auto reponse email If you are out of office for a while and wish to send auto response email messages (automatic reply) by using your Gmail and Yahoo Mail account then these little tricks are definitely for you! There are a lot of chances and occasions you may need to turn on vacation response on your computer. You might be on vacation, you may be talking with somebody or up to a meeting etc. Whatever the reason, if you are a businessman or a person who cares about people who try to contact you, the following tutorial will save your social connections by automatically sending a courtesy email response to them.

Turn on Vacation response on Yahoo Mail account

  1. Login to your Yahoo account.
  2. On the top right side of your Yahoo account, click the Option link.
  3. From the drop down menu, click More options…
  4. Click Vacation Response.
  5. Tick the auto-response during your vacation option to turn on the automatic reply.
  6. Set the frame or lapse of time within the automatic reply will keep sending the messages to people contacting you.
  7. Under Generic Response, fill in the blank field with a message of your choice (Google the Internet to find out some sample).
  8. Click the Save Changes button.

Turn on Vacation responder on Gmail email account

  1. Login to your Gmail account.
  2. Click the Settings link located on the top right side of the Gmail page.
  3. Click General tab (you should be already there as it is set by default), scroll down the page and reach the Vacation Responder section.
  4. Click the Vacation Responder on radio button to turn on the feature.
  5. Set the lapse of time within the auto response email message will be sent.
  6. Fill in the Object and Message blank fields with your own message.
  7. Click the Save Changes button.
