In this guide I will show you how to manually remove the fake Windows User Satellite from your computer without using any third-party software. Windows User Satelllite is a new virus/spyware threat whose only goal is to convince you that your computer is infected by a virus and that your sensitive, private data is at risk. To solve such issue you are literally pushed by the fake Windows utility to buy the full license of the software as Windows User Satellite is only a demo version. The procedure adopted by this new “scareware” is  similar to other threats. Once you get infected, the virus will start a fake scan of your computer (Windows 7 and earlier Windows OS). Windows Problems Solution is another fake Windows system utility and anti spyware which promises you to solve all of your Windows operating system issues. Instead, it is nothing else than a fake utility, a virus which will infect your computer with the only goal to convince you that your computer has got a spyware or virus or that it is not well-optimized. Once you get infected,  the virus perform a fake scan. After that, it will prompt you to download and install a software to help you clean your PC, the software I am talking about is Windows Problems Solution demo. After the software will be installed it will reboot your system. Once your computer reboots, Windows Problems Solution will hold your desktop on ransom by using a window stating that you need to perform another scan. Microsoft AppLocate is a useful, free application that lets you install “foreign” applications that support non-unicode languages on your computer. Basically, Microsoft AppLocale will let you see that application with proper characters and language. For example, if you wish to install and run an application which is written in non-Western language (not coded in Unicode UTF-8 or UTF-16) on your “English language” Windows 7 operating system, you won’t be able to do it unless you have installed Microsoft AppLocale on the machine.  So, thanks to AppLocate you will be able to install such non-Unicode applications without modifying your Windows system locale. Applocale application has not been updated in a while and despite it works on Windows 7 perfectly, users will be unable to install it on such operating system at all. As a result , the system will return the following error message: “There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel and package vendor.” This is due to the fact that when Applocale was developed, the famous (and sometimes annoying) UAC (User Account Control) was n0t available on Windows OS yet. So, to install Applocale on your Windows 7 you will need to disable UAC. Are you fed up with Megavideo time limit (72 min)? Do you want to watch Megavideo videos right away without waiting? Firefox has got an interesting Megavideo addon able to get around the painful time limit which makes you wait “a little too much” in order to watch a video! As you know, Megavideo is an hosting video website (like YouTube)  allowing you to watch, upload and download a lot of videos. The drawback of this website is that after watching 72 minutes of video watching, Megavideo will return you with the following message: “You have watched 72 mins of video today. Please wait XX  minutes or click here to enjoy unlimited use of Megavideo.” Basically, the website hints you to subscribe for a premium account in order to watch unlimited videos. By default, the new Facebook layout has “silently” changed the way it shows your friends posts and pages.
