This simple guide will make things easier for those Hotmail users who want to create multiple or single email alias or aliases (also know as ID). Today, Microsoft has announced a new exciting feature within its Hotmail email web service called Alias. But, what is it? An Alias is a nickname (temporary email address). Now, when it comes to sending email, a lot of users prefer to use different email addresses. You might want to use an email address for your work, another one for your friends etc. Now, with Microsoft Hotmail you are able to send and reply emails using different aliases with your original and default Hotmail email address. Microsoft gives you the opportunity to have up to 5 addresses per year (max 15 aliases per account). An Hotmail alias is nothing else than a disposable email address you can use for your own goals. Let’s see how to create multiple addresses for different things! Continue reading »
As you know Bing search engine has got wonderful backgrounds (some of them are even of HD quality) which change on a daily basis. Such backgrounds can be downloaded and saved as desktop wallpapers on your Windows 7, Windows Vista and XP. However, finding the right free application that lets you use these beautiful Bing photos and pictures can be quite hard, sometimes. In fact, what you need is a kind of wallpaper downloader which, in a few easy steps, will let you perform all the above steps (save and set) in a couple of clicks. Recently, I came across a nice utility which will help you get Bing images and use them for your own needs. Continue reading »

As you know there are nice tricks to search Google for file extensions such as videos, music, documents and even passwords. However, the syntax and the exact commands to force Google (as well as Yahoo, Bing etc.) to search what that specific file extension might be a little hard to remember. In fact, it involves special characters and queries that, useless to say, need to be written down somewhere otherwise you will forget them right away. What you need instead is something else, a kind of extension finder which, by clicking a button, is able to look for whatever you need without all the hassle involved in the process! Let’s see how to achieve such a result thanks to a nice Firefox extension (or addon) which is able to turn your browser to a real file finder! Continue reading »

As you know YouTube allows you to play HD videos on any browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Despite this, sometimes browsers don’t manage to detect the best video quality available thus forcing you to watch a video in low resolution. This nice extension will help you solve this issue. In fact, it will force your Google Chrome browser to play all YouTube videos in HD (if it is possible) or with any available quality you like. Continue reading »
A very irritating feature in Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) beta is a little prompt bar (pop-up) asking you to disable addons. Well, somebody should stop it for good as it is very irritating! Basically, this is just a nagging reminder which contains the following message: “Speed up startup and browsing by disabling add-ons”. The irritating thing is that it keeps appearing whenever you start the browser so that in the end you are force to follow its “advice”. In fact you have 3 options. You can click “Ask me later”, or the “x” every time you open a new tab or window, or disable addon. Now, the issue is that there is not setting in Internet Explorer 9 to tweak as the popup is triggered by the performance monitoring built directly into Windows 7 operating system when it notices an incompatible addon. Let’s see how to stop the reminder thanks to a simple trick! Continue reading »
If you want to mass delete photos and pictures from your Facebook profile you have to know that you don’t have to delete them one-by-one. In fact, there is a nice trick which will save you a lot of time by removing a lot of them at once, in a couple of clicks. Facebook is a kind of “Social Monster Network” which swallows up our life, friends, stories, photo albums, articles etc. So, before knowing, your Facebook account gets clogged with a lot of useless things you want to get rid of. I have already written an article on how to mass delete Facebook friends. Now I feel that it was the tip of the iceberg as an increasing number of users want to mass delete whole archives of stored info from Facebook profiles. Look no further, you have got the right article! Continue reading »
It is not uncommon that a Facebook user comes to Web Talk asking me: “ Why on earth my Facebook (fb) Account was disabled?” or “What can I do to reactivate my Facebook account?”. The issue with Facebook is that its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities are made out of demanding and strict rules that …nobody ever reads! Because of this it is quite easy to break such “unknown” rules and without noticing your Facebook account is ban for not reason, apparently! Let’s see what to do when your Facebook (fb) account has been disabled and what are the most common rules which are broken by its users. Continue reading »

Magicka game is an action-game for PC, Windows operating systems. (Windows 7, Vista and XP). If you wish to download and play with it, you’ll have to buy it. However, I have managed to find a website which gives you the opportunity to get Magicka for free. Of course I am talking about the free demo. However, it is more than sufficient to know and understand what the game is about and decide if it is worth playing or not! Magicka is centered on 4 magicians who fight against an evil sorcerer and its creatures. It is useless to say that such a game is inspired to Warhammer. Magicka is developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and the official website is www.magickagame.com. Well, believe it or not, if you go to such website, you won’t manage to locate the link directing you to the webpage where you will be able to download the game for free! Don’t worry! I have got it for you! Continue reading »
