This guide will show you how to remove the fake, dangerous Profile Peekers (aka Profile Stalker app) application from your Facebook profile. Such application promises to show you who is looking at your profile or who is “stalking you” on Facebook. It is useless to say that such application is completely fake! As stated on this Facebook web page, Facebook doesn’t allow anybody to track down somebody else profile. It doesn’t allow you to see who is looking at your profile, either. Such applications must be considered a scam whose goal is to steal your Facebook private information or to spread malware or viruses! You have to got to delete them right away. So let’s see how to get rid of Profile Peekers and other “who views/stalks my Facebook profile” from your FB account! Continue reading »

But, why on earth would you like to install Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) 32-bit on your Windows 7 64-bit? There are a lot of reasons behind this choice and most of them have got to do with speed. In fact, Internet Explorer 9 32-bit is much faster in comparison to the 64-bit version. Besides, Microsoft itself confirmed such theory by publishing an interesting post on blogs.msdn.com. On such a post, which also contains interesting Q&A about Internet Explorer 9 64-bit version, it is clearly stated that after running SunSpider (a famous benchmark) “32bit IE9 runs script up to 4 times as fast as 64bit IE9 (which itself runs script around 5x as fast as IE8). So, you could end up paying a significant speed penalty when using 64bit IE9 vs using the default 32bit version”. Also, some users prefer to have IE9 32-bit otherwise they won’t be able to download flash player 10 and play flash games. Whatever the reason, I have just found a nice trick which will let you install IE9 default version on Windows 7 64-bit. Continue reading »

This guide will show you how to download multiple email attachments in Gmail. I mean, multiple attachment coming from multiple emails! I am not talking about files within the same email. I want to be clear on this point because on the Internet there are tons of misguiding articles which trick the user into thinking that they can download everything from different emails. However, I want to write about a little side-note. At the time writing, Gmail does not have any special feature such a button or a option in its settings, for example, which does the trick. So don’t look further because probability you are gonna waist your time. So, what’s left? The only way you have got to save multiple attachments is to use a nice, free tool which will connect to your Gmail account and will get whatever you want, down to your computer folders. A lot of users are complaining about the latest Adobe Reader X. In fact, every time they open it a “Open a recent File” splash screen pop-ups on the computer monitor. Such a issue also appears after all files are closed. Adobe Reader X will show the box screen with a list of the latest, most used files. Let’s see how to turn off and remove the offending screen for good! Continue reading »

The new Firefox 4 beta has got a bug that causes a nasty issue as far as the text rendering is concerned. Basically, text and font on every website and blog is blurry and bad thus preventing the user to have a smooth and nice web surfing experience. Such old issue is due to the new GPU hardware acceleration in Firefox 4 that should make Internet surfing faster and more performing. Firefox 4 uses the new Direct2D and DirectWrite technology that accelerate the way text, fonts, 3D objects and different objects are displayed on websites as well as online games. The downside of this technology is that text, links and fonts are rendered in a bad way. In fact, some text get “fatter” while other one seems to be thinner and unnaturally shaped. Let’s see how to fix such issue. Continue reading »

An “old virus“ has been revaped on the Internet. I am talking about the “Open With” virus which pop-ups a dialog-box whenever you try to open a program with .exe extension. To fix the “Open With” malware there are not a lot of solutions to tell you the truth. In face, even though you try to open the antivirus installed on your Windows 7, Vista or XP, the system will ask you with what you want to open such program. This, of course doesn’t make a lot of sense since you can not open Norton Antivirus with, for example, Office Word! So, the first goal of this post is to let you run your antivirus or antimalware. In fact, the virus is rather simple and easily spotted by any virus removal, so no other steps are required in order to remove it! Continue reading »
