Some Skype users are complaining that the useful “See News Feed in Skype” greyed out and got disabled right after turning it on. Sometimes, if you start Windows 7, Vista or XP, the system will start a Check Disk (CHKDSK) for consistency, automatically. You won’t manage to solve such issue, if you restart the computer. No matter what you do, Windows will keep doing and checking for consistency. Apparently, the only way to fix this behaviour is press any key on your keyboard to abort the process. But why, does Windows operating system need to check your disk? This behaviour is triggered when some data or sector in your hard disk is corrupted and actually can not be recovered at all. In order to fix it, Windows will keep doing a check disk every time you reboot the system, without any success.
