When we open Command Prompt (DOS)  to perform special tasks, majority of the time we also have to reach a special folder or directory in order to gain access to files or documents. This means that we have to type the full path to the folder on the Command Prompt. lock the homepage settings downIf your computer is used by a lot of people such as your family members, friends etc. you know how annoying is to find out  your default  browser homepage was changed by someone. By default, Internet Explorer 9 (ie9) browser  doesn’t have any security system that lets you lock the homepage down nor its settings. windows 8In Windows 8, the default, classic shutdown has been replaced by a faster, new shutdown able to reduce the time Windows takes to turn off the computer by 30%-70%. The truth is that Windows 8 doesn’t offer you a “real” shutdown option by default as it doesn’t  turn off services and devices in the kernel session. What it does instead  is save system and memory contents to a file on disk (hiberfile.sys) while leaving users sessions opened. If you don’t like the idea of having a computer “partially” turned off, I have got a nice trick that will let you get back (turn on) the classic, traditional shutdown available on previous Windows operating systems. In fact, unlike previous Windows operating systems, Windows 8 has the warning message “Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle bin” message disabled. hide ticker box

Facebook has recently added a new, interesting feature to its User Interface (UI). Now, on the top right-side of your Facebook profile, you will be able to see a News Feeds Bar (or Sidebar or Box) that displays in real-time updates of  Facebook friends comments, likes and shares. The issue with such  new Side bar is that it sicks on the profile. This means that even though you scroll your profile down, you will always have the News Feed bar following you!
