google new interface

Some weeks ago, Google announced that it will drop the classic navigation black bar on its Google.com search engine main page to adopt a brand new interface and a hidden menu that will appear whenever you hover your mouse pointer over the right-side Google logo. If you are eager to know the web address of this renovated Google.com page you have to know that Google has not released it yet. However, the new interface is right there, before your very as it is embedded in Google Search engine page. What follows is a little hack that will unlock such hidden interface in a couple of steps.

If you use Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+J to open the JavaScript console.
  3. Copy and paste the code available on this webpage in the JavaScript Console.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Close the console and enjoy the new Google, bare-bone interface.

If you use Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+K to open the JavaScript console .
  3. Copy and paste the code available on this webpage in the JavaScript Console.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Close the console.
  6. Done.
