omnia

Samsung has just unveiled its new cellphone i900 Omina. As you know, I don’t review cellphones that often but this one struck me for its incredible features which turn the i900 into a powerful competitor of the well known iPhone. But let’s see together its features:

  • Windows Mobile 6.1.
  • Quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE support (7.2Mbps HSDPA).
  • 3.2-inch WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels).
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera.
  • Wi-Fi.
  • Bluetooth.
  • FM Radio.
  • Available in 8GB and 16GB version.

treo-850

Despite the fact Palm is doing its best to protect its new baby phone, a nice guy managed to post some leaked pictures of it, making Palm’s efforts totally pointless. The picture you can see below shows you the new Treo 850 which , if you ask me, looks like the Palm Centro a little too much. It sports a 400 MHz processor and 100 MB of RAM and the awful Windows Mobile. I don’t understand why Palm is prone to stuff into its devices Windows Mobile more and more. I mean, Palm has its own operating system which is fast, reliable, simple, easy to use and rich of applications. Why the hack does it have to use Billy’s software? Does it really need it so badly?

ep2502

A few days ago I spoke a nice, shiny cellphone watch which promised to turn you into a 007 agent. Today I want to speak about another cellphone watch which is, if you ask me, more fashionable and, above all, cheaper! Its name is EP2502 and, apart from being a very classic watch, has got among other things a wonderful 1.3-inch OLED touchscreen and a 2-megapixel camera. It is also fully water-proof meaning that you can actually dive into the ocean with it, without being afraid of turning it into a small salt water aquarium! Other features include:

  • OLED screen: 1.3 inch OLED 260k; resolution:128 x 160px touching panel.
  • Triband
  • MP3 player.
  • MP4 player.
  • Jpeg viewer
  • T-flash support: free 512 tf card. extend to 2gb.
  • Bluetooth.

Its price is set at just $299, and will be available from May 10th. Click here to buy it.

instinct

Samsung has just unveiled its new cellphone called Instinct. If you ask me, I would say its design looks exactly like the one belonging to Garmin Nuvifone. The only difference is that Instict has a lot, really a lot of features in comparison to its alter-ego! But let’s see in detail what I am talking about:

  • Touch screen interface.
  • Qwerty touchpad.
  • multimedia functionality( listen to music, write SMS ect).
  • Removable battery. No trouble when your battery doesnt manage to hold power anymore. With Instinct you can remove the battery easily. Plus, it comes with two batteries in the box.
  • 2.0 Mp camera with camcorder.
  • 2Gb micro-card included.
  • GPS navigation and search.
  • No word about its release date or its price

On the 3th of April 1972 Motorola achieved an incredible result. As a matter of fact, the FIRST phone call ever made in the whole human history, was successfully sent through radio waves. The person who made this phone call was Martin Cooper who was the general manager of Motorola’s Communications Systems Division. The phone call was made thanks to the first cell phone called Motorola DynaTAC 8000X. This phone weighed about 1,53 kg and let you make a 20 minute phone call thanks to its inner battery. Since thenlots of things have happened and Motorola is swimming through shallow waters cause tough competition. Anyway I would like to thank Motorola for that incredible result that has changed our lives forever.
