Got bored with your Nokia N810 theme? Wish you were able to make one by yourself for free, but you do not know anything about programming? Well, with Theme Maker by Urho Konttori now you can customize your Nokia device’s skin to no end! This nice application lets you customize the background and the general feel and look of your N-device in a few easy steps. All you need is a program like Gimp or Photoshop and a little patience. Reading from Urho Konttori’s blog: “Basically, it’s all about editing one single image file”…”and then setting the theme details in Theme Maker”…”And Clicking build in theme maker. It will produce a nice installable .deb file of your theme. Just copy that to your device (or publish it … whynot) and install it as normal.”. With Theme Maker won’t be impossible to give your N810 your personal touch anymore! If you want to download it or know more about it click here.

my_bloop.jpgIn the Internet there are hundreds of websites offering free space to storage your personal files. You already know that, right? But what makes MyBloop different in comparison to all these services is the fact that it offers you unlimited Web space to storage whatever you wish! Just sign up and start uploading whatever you want for free! (the only limit is that the file you are going to upload doesn’t have to be bigger than 1GB). Of course MyBloop offers more than this, and in fact once you have downloaded your files, a special application manages to recognize the extensions of your files and lets you read, watch, look or listen to them, depending if your files are documents, videos, pictures or music files. A nice, simple website that does exactly what promises. Highly advised to those people who need to have their personal files wherever they go without any need to carry USB pens or other storage devices.

Now, this is a news that is gonna make a lot of people happy and others not. In fact it looks like people in Japan have got a new channel for their beloved Wii, called TV guide channel. This new channel lets Wii users:

  • Surf through shows on the EP

  • Share their favourite shows with friends

  • See how popular a show is

  • Receive an e-mail / SMS alert 30 minutes prior the start of a certian show

  • Use their Wiimote as a remote control for their TV

We don’t know if this nice channel is going to hit the rest of the world. Well, in the meantime the only thing we can do is weeping!

mylo-and-widgets.jpgIf you have bought a nice Mylo Com-2 and you are finally trying to understand how it works, well I want to tell you that soon you will have to start all over again! As a matter of fact Sony is about to introduce a wonderful website for your Mylo full…of widgets! The website, which is reachable here, is called Mylo Lab and it is a place where people who have a Mylo and Widget creators clash togheter to share their knowledge and their brand new applications. So far, the website has a handful of widgets that can be viewed and downloaded here, but soon, I am more than sure about this, there will be more available. The little applications are open-source (since Mylo itself is Linux based) so you don’t have to spend a dime to get them. Finally Sony is starting to understand how things work. People buying these kind of devices (another good example is the excellent Nokia n810) want to have something dynamic in their hands. They want to see their little babies growing and getting bigger and full of nice applications to play with, and not something that keep them bounded to a handful of program they didn’t even have the chance to choose. Customize is the keyword. Kudos for Sony!
