Despite the fact that there is still a lot of confusion about the definitive Windows 7 release date, it looks like there are so many news surfacing from the web, that it is really difficult to understand what is true from what is fake. Anyway today I want to show you some pics about the next Microsoft operative system. Apparently, a Russian website named whatsnext.ru has manage, in some way I don’t want to know, “to steal” something juicy about Windows 7. A whole pic gallery is available here. Have a look at it and tell me…is it true or fake? Personally I don’t know, but these pics show something really close to Windows Vista.

According to Inquirer’s “trusted sources” the next Microsoft Windows that, as you know will be named Windows 7, will see the birth of DirectX 11. This new DirectX version will serve the purpose to keep the new operative system requirements down. It seems a very reasonable choice, if you ask me. As I wrote in a guide of mine Windows Vista is the first operative system that requires certain specific features from a PC. Basically a PC has to adapt to the operative system, when instead it should be the other way around! No word from Microsoft that, as usually, keep its mouth”wide shut”…

A few days ago in a post I spoke about the possibility to see Windows Vista 7 by 2009. The post came from many rumors on the web, also due to the fact that a road map had been released, showing a possible release for that year. Read the full intervew here. To tell you the truth I am more than happy about this news. I think that Windows Vista still needs a lot of support. It is far from being bug-free and perfect ( well, with Microsoft you don’t have the chance to use this word a lot of times). Having another buggy software out could only mean sharing Windows resources to fix bugs between two operative systems delaying, in this way, the day to see a Vista really stable and secure. Speaking about Windows Vista, when Microsoft started commercialising it, it had to think about stability more than money. Looking from this standpoint, releasing Windows Vista looked more like a money gathering than a real WOW…

Well, it seems that some guy working at Microsoft couldn’t help it and decided to put a video of Windows 7. Dear Bill…ehm…no, he is retired. Dear Microsoft, I guess you have to check your security tighter! Anyway, I dont know if this video is real or fake but it is worth being watched. What do you think?
